He quoted the rarely-invoked 18 U.S.C. §2387, the law that makes it a felony (up to 10 years in prison) for anyone who “with intent to interfere with, impair, or influence the loyalty, morale, or discipline” of the U.S. military or naval forces.
Then he tagged retired Navy Commander Kirk Lippold (the hero skipper of USS Cole) and wrote in all caps:
“THIS IS RIGHT ON POINT. DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE!!!”

Commit 18 U.S.C. §2387 and your going to JAIL
WHO? ANYONE
Anyone inside the chain of command, admiral, general, civilian appointee, whoever, who is deliberately tanking morale, pushing political agendas, or sabotaging readiness is now on notice.
The law has been on the books forever, but no administration has ever threatened to actually use it against senior officers or DoD civilians.
